Google Workspace vs Microsoft 365 for business

Google Workspace often suits Gmail and browser-first teams, while Microsoft 365 suits Outlook, Office and Teams workflows; the correct choice follows how people actually work.

Compare workflows before brand names

For a team that already uses Gmail and browser documents, test Google Workspace. For a team dependent on Outlook, Exchange and complex Office files, test Microsoft 365. The useful comparison is between plans that satisfy the same requirements.

Desktop Office, archive and device-management features vary by licence. Verify the current Google plans and Microsoft plans.

Run the same pilot in both platforms

  1. Send an external email and reply from a department address.
  2. Edit a real company document with another employee.
  3. Share a file with a guest, then revoke access.
  4. Create a meeting and check it on mobile and desktop.
  5. Remove a test employee and verify file and mailbox ownership.

Include migration and support in the budget

Count named users, shared addresses, mailbox volume and local archives. Include contacts, calendars, shared files, training and time spent managing the platform. A low licence price does not by itself describe the migration effort or total annual cost.

Our START and BUSINESS service packages cost 350 and 400 AZN/year respectively and include one year of technical support. Licence and hosting scope is recorded separately in the quote. View annual packages.

Choose from documented results

List tasks that passed, failed or require an additional licence. Check everyday document compatibility rather than relying on a demonstration file. Assign an owner to each unresolved issue before moving all users.

See Google Workspace setup and Microsoft 365 setup for implementation scope.
